What am I missing? This makes no sense!?

The guy I'm seeing has only been in long term relationships and has never had a one night stand. He has my picture in a frame in his lounge room. He acts like he cares, I dropped past his house the other day after work and he had cooked me tea (without me having to ask). He's one of those people who thinks little things are the most important. Yet he goes and gets upset when I drop past his house unannounced (when he's said I'm always welcome at his house) after he's had a big night out to make sure he's okay because he hadn't answered his phone all day. What am I missing?
