Can anyone help me to answer this exam question?

Perhaps you could address the predeterminism involved in cl in Britain; if you were born in the upper cles you stayed there, likewise the lower cles. This was partially about money, but also about connections. An upper cl child could expect to be well-educated, a lower cl child could expect to work. Cl isn't necessarily about money in Britain; it's about birthright.
